| Combined cycle in Greece |

OTEPI is participating in the development of detailed engineering for the Agios Nikolaos combined cycle plant to be built in Greece, where engineering is being developed by the Spanish firm, Empresarios Agrupados |
Empresarios Agrupados is an important Spanish engineering and construction firm that has ample experience in the design and construction of electrical energy generating plants, including those that use combined cycle technology. Empresarios Agrupados has contracted OTEPI’s services for the execution of detailed engineering for the piping systems for this combined cycle 400 MW plant located on the Greek coast of the Gulf of Corinth. Lorena Velázquez, the Project Manager, comments on her enthusiasm about participating in a business sector which is new to our corporation and which consolidates our strength in the energy generation field, as our experience over the last 20 years has been concentrated on the design of hydroelectric plants. “This project is in line with the diversification strategy set out in our Future Plan, and we’re sure that this new area will become another of our areas of expertise.”
