During the 41 years since OTEPI´s establishment, we have been faced with innumerable challenges and crises that have indeed affected us, however, we have always been capable of consistently moving past these circumstances and coming out stronger. We have expanded our range; we have become international, conquering new clients and markets, earning their respect and recognition while withholding our values.

It has been, particularly, through these difficult times that the task at hand -which is non other than the pursuit of success and excellence- required greater courage, strength and the collective effort of our staff and from our shareholders. Today we are met with even greater challenges. The entire world and our business field are going through a grave recession. Projects are being postponed or even cancelled, businesses are closing, and highly qualified personnel are losing their jobs. At OTEPI we are committed to, once again, moving past these difficulties and to continue offering the high quality engineering services and solutions that have become our trademark over the years. We believe that we posses the experience, the example of our forefathers, the commitment to our people and the conviction that creativity is the best resource when every other is limited; all of this equips us for the journey ahead of us.

We see every crisis as an opportunity to find areas of improvement, to display our value and to come one step closer to excellence. With the conviction of knowing hard work a positive attitude will get us through anything, we welcome this New Year, 2009.
