are carried out through a group of affiliate companies with specific
purposes.
OTEPI Consultores
S.A.
Otepi Consultores, S.A was founded in 1967 and has a long track
record in the execution of investment projects in the oil, gas,
energy and industrial areas, covering the most complete range of
engineering and construction services, both domestic and international.
Its experience adds up to more than 12 million man-hours in EPC/EPCM
projects following international standards and procedures and
using cutting-edge technology. OTEPI has established and maintains
an integrated HSE & Quality system pursuant to the requirements
of COVENIN – ISO 9001:2000 standards.

This is a branch company of OTEPI Consultores, created in 1992,
which offers engineering, procurement and construction services
to the oil, gas, electricity and industrial sector of the Colombian
market, with extensive experience in the execution of engineering
and EPC projects in refineries and industrial plants.

An affiliate of OTEPI S.A., created in 2004, with headquarters in
Houston. Markets the Corporation’s services in the USA market
and gives administrative support to the operations carried out by

Madrid, markets the services of the Corporation in the European
market and gives administrative support to the operations carried

YP-O&M
A company created by partners OTEPI and INEPETROL in 2001 to
carry out operation and maintenance activities for YPERGAS at
the Yucal-Placer field.

YPERGAS
YPERGAS is the first private Venezuelan gas-producing company,
created in 2001 to carry out perforation, construction of facilities
and field production and exploitation of non-associated gas of
the Yucal-Placer field in Guarico State, southeast of Caracas.
The following companies make up this operator: Total with 37.33%,
RepsolYPF with 11.67%, INEPETROL with 33.67% and OTEPI with 17.33%,
which gives the two Venezuelan companies 51% majority participation.
The Yucal-Placer field covers an area of approximately 1,811
square kilometers made up of more than 10 gas deposits located
at depths of between 4,000 and 11,000 feet, with temperatures
reaching 200°C and a high CO2 content.
Currently it produces 120 million cubic feet per day and it is
expected to produce 300 million cubic feet in the second phase.
The second phase investment is expected to be US$ 474 million.
